Caffeine lovers, just like yourself but also some familiar faces you may already know. After years of brewing your beloved cup of joe at 23 Groveroad, it was time for us to focus on ensuring you were getting the perfect pour every time you made a cuppa, by working on the most important part of each cup – the coffee itself!
You’ll find Clint on a daily basis working on that perfect roast to ensure that you have the best beans in the biz ground to your liking, then delivered to your door.
Yellow Roastery is Passionate about helping Local Organisations while also helping you make the perfect coffee.
Yellow Roastery has been based in Blenheim since 2014. We have crafted our single origins and coffee blends over these years. We carefully select green coffee beans from around the world. These are mainly from the finest single origin green beans that Columbia, Sumatra, India and Brazil can produce. We do insist that these are ethically produced and supplied. It just wouldn’t be right not too these days.
Our expert roasts these fancy green beans to extract the best flavour profiles. Then we blend them together to create some exceptional tasting coffees for the home barrista.
The eternal search for the perfect coffee – some might say it’s as a worthwhile pursuit as hunting pink unicorns.
Everybody’s tastes and preferences differs (la duh!) look at the famous Marlborough Sav Blanc.
That’s why with Yellow Roastery we have decided to start from the ground up (excuse the pun). First with the finest quality beans, and then our vision of the ideal roast profile.
We believe that the key characteristics of a great coffee begins with respecting the innate aromatics and flavours of the beans during the roasting process.
From that, we can roast match or create roast profiles to suit any fussy prepossession.
